All these activities have different centres of their own.
There is a centre of memory. of imagination, of intelligence.
The nature of man is determined by the centres that are awakened and get activated.
These centres are stimulated by electrical & chemical changes produced in the brain itself.
Chemicals are formed by the food we take in.
Food, then becomes a factor in the activity of the brain and the formation of habits.
The Quality of food taken determines the quality of the chemicals produced,
which in turn affect the activity of brain.
The activity of brain determines our behaviour, thought and habits.
Food, here is used in its most comprehensive meaning - not only the food we take from mouth, but whatever our organism accepts from outside.
